- Plan 1 -

Ransom Shield empowers MSPs with tailored solutions to drive sales and strengthen customer relationships. Each MSP will receive a dedicated landing page featuring SKUs customized exclusively for their business. MSPs have full control over pricing for these SKUs, with options for exclusive discounts through coupon codes. Any pricing set below the list price will require prior approval from Ransom Shield, LLC. Sales originating from the Ransom Shield main site will also be attributed to the appropriate MSP, with customer identification supported by name or email. Quarterly sales and commission reports will be delivered within 5 days of the quarter’s close, and MSPs can access real-time tracking of their performance through our secure login portal.

As shown above, the Ransom Shield sales portal allows each SKU to be sold as a one-time purchase. The pricing for this is 3 times the annual fee for a subscription. These prices can also be discounted.

- Plan 2 -

Unlike Plan 1 where MSP customers purchase the solution on the Ransom Shield website, sales for Plan 2 are handled entirely by the MSP. Their customers do not need to visit the Ransom Shield website. MSPs can charge whatever they like for any of the SKUs on the main page. Pricing discounted lower than the main site will need to be approved by Ransom Shield. SKUs will be created for each MSP and will be payable to Ransom Shield, LLC quarterly. An MSP order may look like the following:

5 single license activation codes, 3 5-PC bundles, 1 10-PC bundle:

5 single licenses
JNLRS-GY3XF-1607Z-8MSY9-00001
JNLRS-ZDM2A-55PP7-9E3TV-00001
JNLRS-80G0J-F90G8-YMHY4-00001
JNLRS-2X7CT-DVU37-Q5BVT-00001
JNLRS-GA462-W9GS1-YWY71-00001

3 5-PC licenses
JNLRS-GY3XF-GTH7Z-8MSY9-00005
JNLRS-ZDM2A-55PP7-77PTV-00005
JNLRS-80YUR-F90G8-YMHY4-00005

1 10-PC license
JNLRS-WERTS-1607Z-8MSY9-00010

For these codes, the first 5 digits represent the MSP, the next 3 blocks are unique, and the final block represents the activation total. These codes are viewed by the system as $0 licenses. This means the website’s Stripe payment processing system will not be involved with collecting payment or email addresses from the user. When the Ransom Shield software prompts for a code on install, it will phone home to the website and verify that the code exists in the system. It will then activate the code and increment the install count. Once the install count maximum is reached, the code will be rejected by the software if further attempts are made to install the code on new PCs. The system tracks PC installations by a unique code for each PC. This means that re-installing on the same PC a second time will not update the install count for the code used. PC installs are trackable by the installed hardware.

Even though this plan does not process payments from the end user, it does track codes and installations. Ransom Shield can verify all installations by MSP customers. The MSP is responsible for sending Ransom Shield, LLC quarterly statements for their sales. This will allow accounting for any returns.
